We invite you to an educational afternoon gathering before the big move into the summer season. At the gathering, we will take a closer look at how you can strengthen digital platforms for visitors and further develop the hosting role, to create a stopping effect and good experiences.

This collection is for you who:
• Want to become more visible digitally.
• Working with customers and meeting tourists and visitors on a daily basis.
• Will keep you updated on specific projects and initiatives in the village.

Program
• Optimization of digital platforms /Sander Bjørkum Øvstetun:
- Tourists' use of AI, being more visible online, Google Maps, social media, etc.

• Host role /Torunn Todal Laberg:
- What constitutes good hospitality, tips and tools for dealing with tourists and customers.

• Tourist office:
- Information about the office and what tourists are wondering about.

The Network Meeting is a collaboration between Årdal Utvikling, Sogn Kompetanse, Sitep and Årdal Technology Park. It is a social and informal meeting point with professional content, and a meeting place for networking across industries in the region.

Welcome to the networking lunch with the theme U40 in Årdal!

Are you between 25 and 40 years old and work in Årdal – or do you have employees in this age group? Then you don't want to miss the networking lunch at the Technology Park
Thursday, May 8th, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM

This lunch is for you who:

• are in the target group and want to expand your network and help influence the offer for young adults in Årdal

• is a leader and wants to help young employees feel comfortable and live in the village

• is a leader and wants to get young people from outside to accept the job offer

Sogn U40 and Hydro Young Professionals will talk about existing offers, and during lunch we will create new offers based on demand.

Welcome to a new networking lunch, with the theme of mushrooms and new jobs!

On Tuesday, March 4, Tone Berge, CEO of Biospinout One, will be in Årdal to teach us more about how environmental toxins and plastic in playgrounds can be replaced with mushrooms, and how this sustainable solution is linked to the technology village.

We will hear more about the collaboration between Årdal Utvikling/Sitep and Biospinout One and what this could mean for future, local jobs in our region.

In 2025, our networking lunches will be about Årdal and the region into the future with topics that include the green shift, new business projects, skills development and restructuring.

Welcome to our first networking lunch at Årdal Technology Park.

The networking luncheon is a collaboration between Årdal Utvikling, Sogn Kompetanse and Årdal Technology Park and will be held every other month going forward.

This will be an informal arena for businesses and individuals to refresh their knowledge, serve lunch and get to know each other better and what is happening in local and regional business. We will provide the lunch - all you need to do is register via an external form for each lunch and show up.

The theme of the networking lunch in January is Sogn Kompetanse's work and its offerings with various courses for both businesses and private players and their catchment area in Sogn. In addition, we will hear more about the study centers and student housing offerings in Årdal Technology Park.
