Hydro building

Årdal Teknologi- og Næringspark (ÅTN) purchased Hydrobygget from Hydro Aluminium Årdal in 2025.

The building is located within Hydro's industrial area in Øvre Årdal, next door to Årdal Technology Park. The building has three floors.

The first floor houses Hydro Årdal's central warehouse. The second floor has a canteen and a large meeting room, as well as a large area used as an equipment warehouse.

On the third floor is Hydro Aluminium's research department within electrolysis technology.

The canteen can be used by employees located in ÅTN, and there is good dialogue and cooperation between the technology environment in ÅTN and Hydro's research environment.
