Årdal Teknologi- og Næringspark

We will facilitate new industry and business in Årdal through buildings, land, infrastructure and technology, as well as coordinate and support cooperation between existing and new players in Årdal and the region.

Our owners are Årdal Utvikling, Hydro Aluminium and Årdal Energi Holding. Together we ensure safe facilitation for industrial and commercial development in Årdal with a growing property portfolio.

The company works closely and in coordination with Årdal Utvikling and Sitep, with a common goal of ensuring a more robust business community in the municipality. Our work is rooted in the local business community and we are a driver for collaboration and establishment.

Here we have gathered a variety of expertise companies within a wide range of fields, ranging from entrepreneurial companies that produce algae to Hydro's center for research and technology development in aluminum production.

Årdal Teknologi- og Næringspark ( ÅTN ) is a limited liability company first established in 2018 through Årdal Utvikling.

The company developed the Årdal Technology Park environment with funding from Årdal Municipality and Vestland County Municipality. The company has developed further through a share issue on 01.08.2025 with Hydro Aluminium and Årdal Energi Holding as co-owners, each with their own building as a contribution in kind to the company.


As of 01.06.2026, ÅTN consists of the following buildings: Årdal Technology Park , Hydrobygget and Energihuset . Here, a diversity of expertise companies with unique expertise within a wide range of fields are gathered.
