Baremark

Bioregion Institute has established BioSpinoutOne, which is at the forefront of Baremark.

Baremark makes biological playground surfaces that cut microplastics, reduce emissions and create safer outdoor spaces. The production of the fall surface is located in Årdal in together with operations manager Maksym Bondar. Today there is pilot testing at four playgrounds in Norway.

This nature-based material can be recycled and reused and is an environmentally friendly alternative to today's plastic-based drop mats.
