Invest in inner Vestland

Årdal Utvikling has received funding from Vestland County Council to carry out a feasibility study for future industrial establishments, and look at the entire region as a whole in terms of area, power, opportunities for industrial symbiosis and collaboration to attract the right companies to Sogn/Inner Vestland.
Årdal is at the forefront of the project, which encompasses the municipalities of Årdal, Lærdal, Aurland, Vik, Luster and Sogndal. Central to the mapping are also new establishments linked to existing businesses, with a main focus on green business development.

One of the project's impact goals will be the flow of expertise between the municipalities, by developing a better sharing culture in the region for skills development. Bringing together and collaborating between the expertise communities, and connecting people who can actively work to put the right establishments in place in our region will be crucial for our local communities to be viable in the future.
