Geir Hansen, CEO of Årdal Utvikling, was very pleased to announce that the new status was unanimously approved by the business committee in Vestland county the day before. This means that Årdal municipality will be allocated 5 million kroner annually in a planned 6-year investment, a total of approximately 30 million kroner. The news was received with cheers in the hall, because now the work can really start! This means that the plans that Årdal municipality and Årdal Utvikling have worked on up to now can be put into practice to a greater extent.
Interim manager of Årdal Technology Park, Are Indrelid, provided the latest news about Årdal Technology and Business Park, which will work to attract new businesses and collaborate closely with local businesses and commercial plots. The potential is enormous, says Are Indrelid.
Finally, the audience gained a better understanding of and an update on the activities of Å+, which is a foundation focused on creating social and professional meeting places for young adults between the ages of 18-40. If you are in the target group or are in a company that can use this information in a recruitment context to attract workers, you are most welcome to contact us for more information.
As befits an occasion like this, the lunch ended with a proper party cake to celebrate the granted status as a restructuring municipality and the opportunities it brings for Årdal municipality.
The networking lunch will contribute to networking, professional enrichment and be a meeting place between business, local communities and residents. Welcome to the next networking lunch in June.
