Entrepreneurs' evening with great success

The Entrepreneurs' Night at Årdal Technology Park this week was a great success and confirms that there are many exciting entrepreneurial buddings in Årdal.

It was incredibly fun to meet so many ambitious and curious participants with ideas that encompassed most things.
Some participants have already started their entrepreneurial journey and wanted information and networking, while others are thinkers and wanted inspiration for the path forward.

An extra big thank you to Øyvind Aga from Printfarm.no and Yvonne Aga Romøren from Kortlevert and Jorunn Bjørvik from Trimhåla and Siw Ø Seglem from Frisørstova who shared their journeys and personal experiences with starting their own businesses. Common to all has been the steep learning curve and that it can be tough at times – but no one regrets the choice they made when they took the plunge!

The information part of the evening was provided by Årdal Utvikling and Kunnskapsparken Vestland AS. The former shared information about what they can assist with as a first-line service and that the threshold for contacting is always low. Kjetil Kvåle and Stig Ove Rygg from Kunnskapsparken Vestland spoke about, among other things, Rask Oppstart, the Incubator Program and other advice, such as writing applications to Innovation Norway and other assistance. In addition, Line Moen from Årdal Boligbyggelag and Garanti Eiendomsmegling Indre Sogn spoke about opportunities to rent premises centrally.

We ended the evening with mingling and delicious tapas from Veekiosken.

We look forward to planning a follow-up to the event and, not least, following up on the budding entrepreneurs 😄
