Visit from KS

Last month, Årdal Municipality and Årdal Technology Park were visited by the KS Municipal Sector's organization department SVD Transport, Planning and Environment.

They have had two eventful days in Årdal, and visited Årdal Technology Park on one of the days. There they received information about the Technology Park, the municipality's role in business development and all the companies (Årdal Utvikling, Sogn Opplæringskontor, Sogn Kompetanse and SITEP) that jointly contribute to competence, technology, innovation and green transition in Sogn and Vestland County Municipality.

In addition, Norsk Hydro presented their role in Årdal Technology Park. The day ended with a tour of the biolab, the training factory, the playroom of Sogn Training Office and our course facilities.

It was also extra nice to welcome two former Årdølers, Gunnvor Eldegard who is a senior advisor in the KS department. SVD Transport, planning and environment and Halvard Dahle Lægreid who is a special advisor, KS department. SVD Transport, planning and environment 😊

Årdal Technology Park and Årdal Municipality look forward to building on the good relationships and hope that KS received good input on what constitutes good business and social development.
