New interim leader for Årdal Technology Park

The work to appoint a new CEO for Årdal Technology Park is in full swing. In the meantime, we are fortunate to have Are Indrelid join the team until a new CEO is in place during the summer/autumn of 2026.

Are has worked closely with Årdal Technology Park for several years through his position at Årdal Metallverk in communications and business development. In the first half of 2026, Are will be responsible for shaping the company into the future, which now, in addition to Årdal Technology Park, consists of "Energihuset" (formerly the building of Årdal Energi Holding) and "Hydrobygget" (the warehouse/canteen building, formerly the building of Hydro Årdal Metallverk).

Are tells the following about his work as CEO and reveals several changes in the future:

"This is an exciting and motivating task, as the "new" company, which will be named " Årdal Teknologi- og Næringspark ", will have an important role in the development of industry in Årdal in terms of coordinating project activities and the expertise environment. It will also have a certain financial muscle that can contribute to the realization of larger projects", Are can reveal.

Årdal Teknologi- og Næringspark is a collaboration between Årdal Utvikling, Årdal Energi Holding and Hydro Aluminium, previously referred to as the "Industrial Park Project."

"I have great faith in this collaborative project, as there is a lot of expertise that we can draw on from the owners. Until a permanent CEO is in place, my task will be to set up the company, put systems and routines in place, start marketing and communication towards existing and new networks, so that the new leader does not have to start from scratch," Are elaborates.

In the near future, we will share more about the status of the work on Årdal Technology and Business Park, which the aforementioned actors are well underway with, where the expertise environment in Årdal Technology Park plays a central role.
