The year 2025 - Årdal Technology Park
2025 has been a year of activity, collaboration and new steps forward for both the companies at the house and the development of Årdal as a technology city. Now we look forward to starting 2026 – but first: some highlights from the past year
The immigration office in Årdal has welcomed over 100 immigrants and provided an overview of leisure activities, events, housing and the job market in Årdal.
At the same time, we have become acquainted with Fredrik and Sander, while Astrid has been on leave.
Three networking lunches have been organized, which have created a new and important meeting place between companies across the region.
In addition, we delivered a very successful Technology Week with entrepreneur evening, professional days, textile day and First Lego league.
We have had visits from Innovation Norway, the Minister of Industry and Trade and youth politicians, and have been represented at, among other places, Grieghallen at Framtidsfylket's fair, at Årdalsmarknaden, SognaSmart, Innovation Day, Green Region Vestland's hub gathering and Sognafest - where Apprentice of the Year was Wilken Hæreid Karlsen (SOK).
Sogn Opplæringskontor has held summer schools and welcomed both RTU, kindergartens and school classes, where programming and LEGO building have been on the agenda. During Technology Week, we had visits from over 300 middle school students from all over the region!
The new network Å+ has been established, and the new collaboration Årdal Industripark has taken shape.
BioSpinOut One has deployed its first prototypes – an important step from idea to reality, with Sitep behind it.
During the year, we have also had visits from several people with good ideas and entrepreneurial ambitions, and several entrepreneurial businesses have been established in our environment.
We will see even more of that in 2026 – the door is open for new projects and new people.
All of this is the result of people, businesses and organizations who want something more from Årdal.
Thank you for your efforts in 2025 – we look forward to continuing in 2026
